Lettuce Mosaic Virus – LMV detection
Lettuce Mosaic Virus is a potyvirus mainly infecting lettuce. LMV is recognazable thanks to several sympthoms : necrotic or chlorotic local lesions, mosaic, vein yellowing and leaf malformation.

Disease caused by LMV is harmless to humans but the defects make the plants unmarketable.
Virus is transmitted by seeds and aphids (in a non-persistent manner).
